I’ve tested OmmWriter on the latest Mac OS X Lion, and it works perfectly. After downloading and using OmmWriter for more than a day, one thing is for sure: this app will stay on the top of my deck of writing apps for a long time to come.

The ethereal background music and the sound effect OmmWriter delivers as you type from your keyboard is soothing. And the menu disappear as you write is another advantage that adds up for the distraction-free environment. My favorite feature is the clattering sound as I hit the keys. Like the Typewriter. Because of this, my productivity has shot up to a remarkably new level.

I can also change the background, switch to a new soundtrack and change the text size without sweating bullets. And the best part? Even the free OmmWriter app has all of these features.
